Zachary Raymond Jewett

Zachary "Zack" Raymond Jewett, 23, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on December 2, 2017, at his residence. Born on July 22, 1994 in Attleboro, MA, he was the beloved son of Wayne R. Jewett and Caren L. (McLaughlin) Jewett, both of North Attleboro.A graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 2013, he attended Bristol Community College and worked at a variety of jobs in the area.A lifelong resident of North Attleboro, Zack had a great sense of humor and a wonderful hug for most everyone. His laughter and smile were contagious, and his charm earned him friendship everywhere he went. He loved being with family and his many friends, and had so many amazing times with his cousins. Zack enjoyed riding motorcycles, hanging around at the beach, camping with his best friends, and creating music. He had played Pop Warner Football and enjoyed Karate at America's Best Defense. When he was eight-years old, Zack's quick thinking and fast response saved the life of a neighborhood child who had fallen into a swimming pool. For his actions, Zack was honored by the Boston Celtic's "Heroes Among Us" program. Zachary left every room he entered a little brighter, and every life he touched a little more joyful.In addition to his parents, he leaves his dear sisters: Chelsea R. Jewett of North Attleboro, MA, and Desiree E. Jewett and her fiancé, Thomas Sharples, of Somerset, MA. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Karen and John McLaughlin of Plainville, MA, and was the paternal grandson of Elaine J. Jewett of North Attleboro, MA, and the late Gerald R. Jewett. He also leaves behind his girlfriend Kimberly Qualter of Attleboro, MA. Zack leaves behind several cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless beloved friends. Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Zack by gathering for a Visitation on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Good News Bible Chapel, 235 West Street, Attleboro, MA.Burial will immediately follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, North Attleboro, MA.
