Zachary Mitchell Brock

April 8, 1991 — April 10, 2019

Zachary Mitchell Brock, 28, of Plainville, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at home.
Born in Claremont, NH on April 8, 1991, he was the son of William Brock of Plainville, MA, and Therese Catani Brock of Rockingham, VT, and a loving caring brother and best friend Christopher Catani of North Attleboro, MA.
Zachary attended King Philip High School and graduated in 2009, moving to Cranston, RI. He attended Paul Mitchell School of Hair Design.
He worked at a medical center as a Surgical Assistant for several years, and worked with wonderful people where he absolutely loved his position. He then later transitioned to work alongside his father.
Zachary was such a loving soul; he touched so many lives along his way.   He cherished spending time with family and friends.  Wherever he went, he lit up a room and filled people's lives with laughter.
In his younger years he was such a great baseball player in which his dad took time coaching, and was involved in soccer. He enjoyed camping, the Red Sox, and especially the Patriots. He also loved animals and his family had a family dog Tucker who is now on Rainbow Bridge waiting.
He had an amazing talent as a bass player and loved music.  He created a band and was part of the warp tour and they would often set up and tour on their own from Boston to many places across the country.  He created and managed a band that he was passionate about and took very seriously.  They once were signed with a label, Focus Records, out of Boston. The band would later be nominated into the New England music awards for best pop artist of the year.
He loved to travel all parts of the country. One of his favorite places was California, and he made special trip there to see his favorite band, Coheed and Cambria, which ironically means "The Beginning of Life." He supported and loved seeing all kinds of shows and those of his friend's bands.
He loved the ocean and going to the beach, and spent a lot of time with his brother, seven years apart, they loved hanging out with each other. His brother Christopher was such an inspiration to his life and great support system to him.
Being his mother and the writer of this it has been heart wrenching to write this and what we experienced throughout my years I will say that I can only tell you that from the moment he entered my life I felt so honored. Billy and I as parents are very proud of him and he never gave us one ounce of trouble. I am proud to say we raised an incredible boy who turned into such a respectful gentleman, and we all adored him.
His spirit will continue to live on in all of us as it is his shell that has simply left, he will forever remain in our hearts and souls.
Rest easy our son.
He is survived by his father, William Brock, and his fiancée, Jayne Hamilton, of Plainville, MA; his mother, Therese Brock, of Rockingham, VT; his brother, Christopher Catani, of North Attleboro, MA; his Nana, Carol Thebarge, of Charlestown NH; his auntie Maryellen; his uncle, David Catani and his wife, Tracy Catani, of Atlanta, GA; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his late grandfather, Richard Catani, of  Newport, VT; his late Papa,  Emile Thebarge, of Charlestown NH; his late Naunny, Loretta Delsignore, of North Attleboro, MA: his late aunt  and godmother, Victoria Catani  Rossena, of Rye, NH: and his late uncle, Kevin Brock, of Walpole, MA.
