Yvonne Rose Chatterton

Yvonne Rose (Hebert) Chatterton, 94, of Newman Avenue, Seekonk, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Ralph E. Chatterton, who died February 17, 1978. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on June 5, 1919; she was a daughter of the late Phillip Hebert, Sr. and Corana (Martin) Hebert. She was employed as a waitress at various restaurants throughout California for many years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Chatterton loved to play golf and was considered a "World Traveler". She was a devoted, faithful Catholic and a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk. Mrs. Chatterton is survived by two sisters and one brother: Doris Mattos of Fairfield, California; Theresa E. Pedro of Seekonk; Lawrance Hebert and his wife, Carol Hebert of Fairfield, California; lots of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great-nephews. She also leaves behind her best friend, Jane Feiler of California. She was predeceased by three sisters: Anita, Bella and Beatrice; and five brothers: Alfred, Henry, Robert, Raymond and Gerard. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 4-7 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 8:45 AM from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 385 Central Avenue, Seekonk, with Father James Morse, officiating. Burial to follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro.
