Yvette Therese (DeBlois) Harrison, 90, of Pawtucket, RI, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Waterview Villa Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in East Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of Edmund J. Harrison of Pawtucket.Born on May 27, 1925 in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Dennis DeBlois and the late Ida (Cloutier) DeBlois.Yvette worked for many years as a Solderer for Swank, Inc., before retiring. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a member of St. Cecilia Church. She loved cooking and baking, and was long active with her family with the Boy Scouts. Her generosity and caring were apparent in the hats and clothes she made for newborn babies at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. Yvette's happiest moments were with her family, especially time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Edmund, she is survived by her children: Dennis E. Harrison of Pawtucket, RI; and Ronald J. Harrison and his wife, Barbara (Zompa) Harrison, of Ivins, UT. She was the adoring grandmother of Christopher, Scott, Kate, and Alexandra; and cherished great-grandmother of Madison, Hunter, Oceannah, Colby, Mackenzie, and Sophia. She was the sister of Roland DeBlois of North Providence, RI, and Donald DeBlois of Pawtucket, RI; and leaves many nieces and nephews.Yvette was the beloved mother of the late Michael D. Harrison, and the sister of the late Edwin "Pete" DeBlois.
