Yvette Marie Germaine Johnson

Yvette Marie Germaine (Pinsonnault) Johnson, 86, of Park Street, Attleboro, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Lifecare Center of Attleboro surrounded by her devoted and dedicated family. She was the wife of the late Frank P. Johnson who died on January 10, 1979. Born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts on September 16, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Omer and Dinora (Dupuis) Pinsonnault. She moved to Canada with her family as a child and was raised and educated there prior to returning to the United States at the age of 20. Mrs. Johnson resided in Attleboro since 1987 and previously resided on Towne Street in Attleboro Falls for 25 years and was a former resident of Holmes Road and Broad Street, North Attleboro. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in North Attleboro. Mrs. Johnson was employed as a stitcher for the former Homer-Alden Company in North Attleboro for more than 20 years prior to her retirement in 1962. Her favorite pastimes included crocheting, reading and collecting glass figurines. She leaves a son: Robert R. Johnson of North Attleboro; twin daughters: Christine A. Gaouette of Attleboro and Catherine E. Dwyer of Attleboro; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven siblings and her son Paul E. Johnson, who died in June of 2010. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 5:00 7:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Paine Cemetery, Paine Road, North Attleboro.
