Yvette Alma (Martineau) Gagielo, 71, of North Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of Paul H. Gagielo, to whom she was married on February 27, 1965. Born on January 15, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Emile Martineau and Marie (Gaudreau) Martineau.A longtime resident of North Attleboro, she previously lived in Attleboro. Before her retirement in 2013, Yvette worked for many years as an Assembler at Motorola, and at Bagels & Cream in North Attleboro.She was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls.Yvette was a kind and loving woman of simple taste whose life passion was dedicating herself to her loving family. She had an infectious laugh, a wide smile, and sparkling eyes. Yvette always had a way of making those around her laugh and smile. In addition to her husband, Paul, she is survived by her cherished children: Michael P. Pelland-Gagielo and his wife, Cindy Pelland-Gagielo, of Dripping Springs, TX; and Christine M. Gagielo of North Attleboro, MA; and her dear brother: Raymond Martineau and his wife, Rita Martineau, of Blackstone, MA. She was the adored grandmother of Cara Marie Pelland-Gagielo, Daphne Rose Pelland-Gagielo, and Brooke Michelle Pelland-Gagielo, all of TX; and leaves her beloved dog, "Nicky".Friends and family are cordially invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Children's room is available during visitation and while the funeral cortege is being organized.Those in need of a local ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such complimentary transportation.
