William "Bill" Powers Bolger, 65, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Susan "Sue" Ann (Mulry) Bolger, whom he married on July 23, 1977.
Bill was the son of the late William Carter Bolger and the late Margaret Mary (Perreault) Bolger. Born in Attleboro and raised in the Plainville and North Attleboro, MA area, he was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School, Class of 1974. He was a resident of Plainville, MA from 1977 until 2005.
Bill was the proud and hardworking owner of William P. Bolger Building and Remodeling from 1978 until 2005, and worked as a self-employed landscaper in North Port, FL from 2006 until 2016. While residing in Florida, he also enjoyed working with his son, Kyle, at Kyle's landscaping business in Ft. Lauderdale.
The true center of Bill's life was his family, and he deeply cherished spending time with them, and lit up whenever he was with his treasured grandchildren. He took great pride in his work in both construction and landscaping and loved to remodel older homes in the Plainville and Triboro area. An avid reader, he enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking, buying the occasional scratch ticket, and in his younger years, snowmobiling. Bill held a special place in his heart for his late dogs: Shilo, Spencer, and Kaiser. He was always willing to lend a hand to others, and there was never a time when Bill didn't end a conversation with a sincere, "Thank you".
In addition to his wife, Sue, he leaves his loving children: twin daughters, Heidi (Bolger) Kesner and her husband, Randy Kesner, of North Port, FL, and Heather (Bolger) Herlin and her husband, Kevin Herlin, of Cumberland, RI; and his son, Kyle Bolger and his wife, Robin Bolger, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Luke Herlin and Kyle Herlin. Bill was the dear brother of Maureen Merigold and her husband, William Merigold, of Plainville, MA. He was loved like a son by his wife's late parents: Raymond Mulry and Helen (Sullivan) Mulry. Bill leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, his extended family, and many dear friends.
