William "Billy" E. Beckett Jr.

William E. Beckett Jr. "Billy" 83, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Lozzi) Beckett. They were happily married for 60 years.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, on February 5, 1940, he was the son of the late William E. Beckett Sr., and Thelma (Bingham) Beckett.
Billy worked with his father at a young age at Chestnut Auto Body in North Attleboro, MA; after his dad passed away he took over his family business.
He is survived by his loving children, Gena Vanbever of San Juan, Puerto Rico, William E. Beckett III "Tiger" and his wife Elizabeth (Pinocci) of North Attleboro, MA., and Joseph M. Beckett "Jay" from North Attleboro, MA. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Justin and Spencer Vanbever of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Daniel, Emily, Isabella, Camille, Josephine and Joseph Beckett Jr. "Josh" all of North Attleboro, MA., and dear great-grandchildren, Justin, Stella, Isabella and Victoria Vanbever. He was the brother of the late Eleanor J. Santsaver, Joann Boucher and Nancy Raposa.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be private.
