William Alfred Ducharme

William Alfred Ducharme, 80, of Lakeshore Drive, North Attleboro, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. He was the former husband of Martha E. (Metcalf) Ducharme of North Attleboro, MA. Born on November 1, 1934, he was the son of Arthur Ducharme and Alice (Feener) Ducharme. Mr. Ducharme proudly served our country in the United States Air Force, and was a Scale Master at Masslite Quarry in Plainville, MA before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed music, particularly country music, time spent at the casinos, and most especially dancing. Mr. Ducharme is survived by his four beloved children: Patricia A. Quigley of Sebring, FL; John W. Ducharme of Somerset, MA; Shonda Y. Ducharme of North Attleboro, MA; and William R. Ducharme of Cato, NY. He was the brother of Arthur R. Ducharme and his wife, Pauline, of Brooksville, FL; and also leaves seven adored grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, his extended family, and dear friends. He will be sorely missed by his faithful companion, "Mina". Mr. Ducharme was the brother of the late Burt LaBelle. Visitation has respectfully been omitted. Burial will be private.
