William F. Crowley, Jr.

William Francis Crowley, Jr., 86, of Attleboro, MA passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 6, 2023, at the Accent Care Hospice and Palliative Care in Milton, MA. He was the beloved husband of Maureen Anne (Keirnan) Crowley to whom he was married on November 11, 1959.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on November 28, 1936, he was a son of the late William Francis Crowley, Sr and the late Sara Rose (Reilly) Crowley. Raised and educated in Providence, Rhode Island, Mr. Crowley was a graduate of La Salle Academy in 1954. He had been a resident of the City of Attleboro since 1979.
He spent his career in the telecommunications industry having worked for more than 40 years for the former New England Telephone before his retirement.
His favorite pastime was any time spent in the company of his family and friends. He particularly enjoyed following and attending his grandchildren's sporting and theatre activities. He and his wife traveled extensively throughout the world. In earlier years, he enjoyed golf and welcomed every opportunity to follow politics and then debate them.
In addition to his wife, he was the father of Patricia M. Inman and her husband, Jay Inman, of Chepachet, Rhode Island; Kathleen A. Foisy of Pascoag, Rhode Island; Anne Tellier and her husband, Paul Tellier, of Attleboro, MA; Sharon L. Wagner and her husband, Richard Wagner, of Attleboro, MA; Peg LaScola and her fiance , Mark Tapley, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; Christine A. McLaughlin and her husband, Jason McLaughlin, of Delmar, New York and the late Mary E. Crowley.
He was the cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and also leaves several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late John Crowley, Mary O'Keefe and Hope Upham.
A private visitation and Service of Remembrance will be held in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
