William Childers

William Childers, 67, of North Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in the comfort of his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Keri (Luciano) Childers. They were happily married for 39 years.

Born in Boston, MA., on November 9, 1957, he was the son of the late Russell and Genevieve (Goodis) Childers.

With 49 years of experience in the Wine and Spirits industry, his most recent position was with Yankee Wine and Spirits in Norwood, MA, where his team became his second family. He possessed exceptional expertise and knowledge of the business and its products. He also had a passion for landscaping, cooking, carpentry and music, specifically Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones. William was an ardent supporter of Boston sports throughout his life. He took pleasure in the warm summer days, often gathering with friends, family, and neighbors on his back deck. Additionally, he had a passion for automobiles.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughters, Ashley Childers and her husband Jon Burgess of Plymouth, MA., and Nicole Childers and her partner Nick Martini of Franklin, MA. He is also survived by his “chosen son” Justin Connolly of North Attleboro, MA., and devoted siblings, Ellen and Bob Micciche of Middleboro, MA., Paul and Sue Childers of Franklin, MA., Russ and his late wife Ginger Childers of Norton, MA., Kim and Jim Lynch of North Attleboro, MA., and Dan and Megan Luciano of North Attleboro, MA., 13 cherished nieces, nephews and spouses and his dear fur grandchildren, Bear, Moose, Stache and Bella.

At his request, services will be private until a later date.
