Wilfred G. "Chipper" Cameron, 59, of County Street, Attleboro, died on Friday, May 3, 2013 at his residence following an illness. He was the husband of Jennifer A. (Simpson) Cameron to whom he was married on June 4, 2005. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on September 14, 1953, he was a son of Anna (Bandilli) Cameron of Attleboro and the late Wilfred A. Cameron. He was raised and educated in the City of Attleboro and remained a lifelong resident. As a child he was a communicant of the former Holy Ghost Church in Attleboro and was a former communicant of the former St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in the Dodgeville section of the City of Attleboro and more recently of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Seekonk. Mr. Cameron was the founder, owner and operator of Cameron Roofing Company since 1974. He was also the proud owner of the Cameron Women's Sober House in Attleboro and North Attleboro and was the co-founder of Bottomline in Attleboro. Mr. Cameron devoted his time to family and helping those transitioning to better places in their lives. He enjoyed the times spent in the outdoors and treasured the solitude of nature, flower gardening and sail boating. In addition to his spouse and mother, he leaves three children: Jason Cameron of Mansfield; Genevieve R. Cameron of Attleboro and Jacob S. Cameron of Attleboro; four sisters: Winnifred Fernandes of Attleboro; Linda Kaiser of Attleboro; Paulette Palumbo of Rhode Island and Diann Sutcliffe of Attleboro; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and countless friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Tuesday morning, May 14, 2013 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. The funeral service will immediately follow visitation on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Children's room available during visitation and the funeral service. Burial will be private.
