Wilfred A. "Bill" Beach, 76, of Rachel Drive, Attleboro died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his residence following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the devoted husband of the late Jeanine H. (Squires) Beach who died in June 1999. Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on September 30, 1938, he was a son of the late Wilfred W. and Anita L. (Brassard) Beach. He resided in Attleboro for the past 20 years having moved to the community from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Bill worked primarily in the automotive field, operating his own service station in Central Falls, Rhode Island followed by 34 years with the Palmer Spring Company in Providence where he served as the sales and parts manager prior to his retirement. He enjoyed music, karaoke, NASCAR and antique cars, in particular early 1950's Chevrolets. Bill leaves four children: Arthur "Bud" Beach of Coventry, Rhode Island; David B. Beach of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Claire "Miki" Michelle Aronhalt of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and Sheryl J. Groves of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister: Claire Allard of Cumberland, Rhode Island; two nephews; a niece and extended family members and friends. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 2:00 - 3:45 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 4:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Attleboro at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Community VNA Hospice Care, 10 Emory Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
