Wendy Noella (Peterson) Sears, 54, of Attleboro, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at her home in Attleboro, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of Randy J. Sears whom she married on March 1, 1993.
Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on July 8, 1968, she was the daughter of Noella J. (Boucher) Peterson of Attleboro and the late Robert A. Peterson
Raised and educated in Attleboro, she was a graduate of Attleboro High School's graduating Class of 1986 where she was Captain of the Color Guard. She worked for the Medical Equipment & Supplies Company Covidien in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
In her earlier years, Wendy enjoyed camping trips with her husband. She and her husband, Randy, made countless trips to Maine and Myles Standish State Park, memories he will cherish forever. Spending time with Randy was what made Wendy happy, he was her world and no matter what they did, they enjoyed every minute together. One of Wendy's favorite ways to get out of the house was dining out with Randy. They often went to her favorite restaurant, Wetherlaine's, where she loved the food and the atmosphere.
An animal person through and through, Wendy loved them all, but she had a particular soft spot for cats. She and Randy opened their home to many of them over the years and she loved them all. She had a big heart and loved hard which was evident in the way she cared for her family, especially her nieces and nephews and friends.
Another extraordinarily close relationship Wendy had was with her 91-year-old father-in-law, Sonny. She took very good care of his healthcare and took him to all of his doctors appointments. One would say Sonny had Wendy wrapped around his finger and it may have been true, but Wendy wouldn't have had it any other way.
Left to mourn her loss is her husband Randy J. Sears of Attleboro, MA; her mother Noella J. Peterson, of Attleboro, MA; Her siblings: Pennie L. Anelude, and her husband Mario J., of Taunton, MA, and Robert "Rob" Peterson and his wife Rachel, of Bellingham, MA; her brother-in-law: Gary D.
