Wayne Lionel Bellerose, 73, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Donna E. (Steele) Bellerose.Born on January 28, 1944 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Lionel and Lillian (Chapman) Bellerose.He was a graduate of Coyle High School, Class of 1960. Wayne worked for twenty years for NEPCP in Norton, MA as a welder, and later worked for twenty-five as the Manager of City Spirits Liquors in Attleboro, MA. Wayne was a resident of Attleboro for the past forty-two years, having previously lived in Norton, MA. He enjoyed watching television and sports of most every kind, and had a tremendous memory for trivia. He will be remembered for his wit and unusual sense of humor. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.In addition to his wife, Donna, he leaves his loving children: David G. Bellerose and his wife, Karen Bellerose, of Plymouth, MA; and dear step-children: Jennifer L. Van of Attleboro, MA; and Steven E. Swenson of Plainville, MA. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Douglas Swenson and his fiancee, Maddie Davern; Joshua Swenson; Jake Swenson; Nicholas Van; and MaiLinh Van. Wayne was the brother of the late Gene Bellerose and the late Dale Bellerose, and leaves three nephews, one niece, and his extended family.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to honor and remember Wayne at a Visitation on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 647 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Wayne to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 647 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
