Warren Joseph Joubert

Warren Joseph Joubert, 62, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice Center in Providence, RI, from pancreatic cancer after a short, but brave battle. He was the beloved husband of Leah M. Joubert, to whom he was married on June 4, 1978.
Born on August 27, 1956 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of Helene (Saulnier) Joubert, and the late Wilfred Paul Joubert.
Warren was a lifelong resident of Attleboro and attended Attleboro High School. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
He proudly and honorably served our country as a member of the United States Air Force for more than twenty years before retiring, and was employed for twenty-five years as a Production Manager for H W Test Products in Seekonk, MA.
A genuinely caring, outgoing, and generous man of faith, he attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norton for many years, where he was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Warren volunteered his time and efforts for several years with hospice care. He was an avid runner, having competed in 5K, 10K, and half-marathons, loved playing the guitar, and was a loyal New England sports fan. He enjoyed traveling throughout the world with his family while in the military. After settling in Massachusetts, he continued to enjoy traveling with his wife Leah and spending summers with family and friends in Old Orchard Beach, ME. More than anything, Warren deeply loved his family and cherished spending every moment he could with them.
In addition to his wife, Leah, and his mother, Helene, he leaves his beloved children: Jackie Romaniecki and her husband, Craig Romaniecki, of Attleboro, MA; and Jeremy Joubert and his wife, Michelle Joubert, of Limerick, ME. He was the proud and adoring Pepère of Elyse and Caleb Romaniecki. Warren was the dear brother of Roberta Morency of Barrington, RI; Dennis Joubert of East Falmouth, MA; Donna Perkoski of Attleboro, MA, and her twin brother, Donald Joubert of North Attleboro, MA; Dolores Medeiros of Rehoboth, MA; triplets Richard Joubert of Dighton, MA, Russell Joubert of North Attleboro, MA, and Rosalind Kalberer of Attleboro, MA; Cheryl McGovern of Seekonk, MA, and her twin sister, Charlene Boyle of Rehoboth, MA; Warren's twin brother, Wayne Joubert of Grand Ledge, MI; and Simone Aussant of Dighton, MA. He leaves deeply loved brother and sister-in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, his extended family, and many dear friends and colleagues.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to honor and celebrate Warren's life by gathering for a Visitation with Veteran's Honors on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Friends and family are also invited to attend the Funeral on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1 Power Street, Norton, MA.
Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. All family and friends are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Warren to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1 Power Street, Norton, MA 02766.
