Walter Sikora, 59, passed away unexpectedly Saturday night, September 5, 2020. Born in São Paulo Brazil on July 25, 1961 to Jan and Anna (Jakuszewicz) Sikora, immigrants from Poland. They emigrated to America when Walter was three, settling in Brockton, MA.
With his determination, and generous support from family, he was a graduate of Massasoit College, Northeastern University and the Gordon Institute at Tufts University. He worked his way up through the cyber security and emerging technologies industry, to the point of "retirement" in his last few years of life.
Walter was a gregarious man who was surrounded by a wide circle of friends and family. He was a world traveler, lover of photography, cars, music, shell fishing, fine food, the beach, a great bargain and all kinds of games.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 35 years Pamela (Cleveland) Sikora, daughter Angela (Alexander), son Michael (Kerry) and five grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents, he leaves behind one sister, three brothers, many nieces, nephews and great nephews.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing and the mandatory use of face masks, Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Thursday, September 10. 2020 from 9:00 - 11:30 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
Private graveside services will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
