Vithaldas Hemdas Patel, 93, of Norwood, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He was the beloved husband of Hiraben (Patel) Patel.Born on January 18, 1925 in India, he was the son of the late Hemdas and Surajben Patel.Vithaldas worked for many years in the Wholesale Spice business in India before retiring and coming to the United States in 1990.In addition to his wife, he leaves six cherished children, numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many, many dear friends, both near and far.Family and friends are invited to attend a Hindu service in celebration of his life on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Lombardo's, 6 Billings Street, Randolph, MA, immediately followed by a traditional final prayer service at Woodlawn North Purchase Crematory, Attleboro, MA.For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an online guest book at www.dyer-lakefuneralhome.com .
