Virginia Louise (Sprigg) Robinson, 94, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Aldridge James Robinson, who died on April 28, 2007.Born on March 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Louise (Bunker) Sprigg.A lifelong resident of Attleboro, Virginia worked for many years in the jewelry business there, both for the Ripley & Gowan Company and for the L.G. Balfour Company, before retiring in 1986.A woman of faith, she was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Attleboro, as well as a member of the Attleboro Emblem Club #58, the Attleboro Roundtable, the Balfour Gold Dusters Club, and AARP. Virginia enjoyed cooking, dancing, reading, and especially spending time with her beloved family.She was the loving mother of John J. Robinson and his wife, Mary V. (Gayton) Robinson of Attleboro, and the proud grandmother of Sean T. Robinson and his wife, Amanda (Buckley) Robinson of Pawtucket, RI; Joel M. Robinson and his wife, Kristine (Young) Robinson, of Wakefield, MA; and Matthew J. Robinson and his wife, Meredith (Mooney) Robinson, of Attleboro; and the adoring grandmother of ten great-grandchildren.
