Virginia "Ginny" Ellen (Hanscom) Watson, 83, of Branson, MO, formerly of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully at Cox Medical Center in Branson, MO. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. "Bill" Watson.Born on September 1, 1934 in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albert A. Hanscom and the late Blanche (Esterbrook) Hanscom. A graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1952, Ginny was employed for many years at the First National Bank in Attleboro, and took great pride in working at her yarn store in North Attleboro before retiring and moving to Branson.In her youth, she was a member of the Rainbow Girls, and later was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star - Hope Chapter, Attleboro. Ginny loved to knit and to teach knitting. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially for her faithful dogs. She leaves several cousins, and her dear friends: Lois A. Eberle and her husband, William J. Eberle, of Norton, MA; and Diane Davidson of Branson. Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Ginny by gathering for a Visitation on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.A Graveside service will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of Ginny's love of animals, memorial donations may be made in her name to a community animal shelter of one's choice.For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an online guest book at
