Vinh Bang Lam, 82, of Trinity Circle, Attleboro, died on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the South Cove Manor in Boston where he had been a resident since June 17, 2005. He was the husband of Chau (To) Trinh to whom he was married for 58 years. Born in China on October 1, 1929, he resided in China until immigrating to Vietnam where he resided until moving to the United States and settling in Providence in 1988 and then moved to Attleboro in 1990 and the nursing home in Boston seven years ago. He proudly became a United States Citizen on September 24, 1999. Mr. Lam was employed as a private small business accounting clerk in Vietnam prior to moving to the United States. His favorite pastimes included listening to short-wave radio, watching movies and reading Chinese newspapers and periodicals. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by six children: Thanh To Lam of Attleboro; Phuoc To Lam of Attleboro; Linh To Lam of Rehoboth; Phuong To Lam of Attleboro; Lien To Lam of Attleboro and Hung To Lam of Attleboro and ten grandchildren.
