Vincent Ambrose Cobb

Vincent Ambrose Cobb, 92, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Born on June 13, 1926 in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Lewis and Sarah (Cruff) Cobb.Raised and educated in Attleboro, he was a resident of North Attleboro for the past sixty years, having also previously lived in Plainville, MA. Vincent worked for 32 years for Standard Plastics Company and for the North Attleborough Public Schools, before retiring.Vincent was a kind and gentle, loving family man and friend. He was a man of faith and devotion, and was a charter member of St. Mark's Church in North Attleboro and receiver of the Marian Award. He enjoyed playing board games, especially dominoes with his daughter, and loved spending time simply reflecting life from his front porch. He was the beloved father of Dorinne C. Tewfik of North Attleboro, MA; Daniel J. Cobb of Carmichael, CA; and David V. Cobb of North Attleboro, MA. Vincent was the adoring grandfather of James J. Cobb and Mona C. Paniccia, both of California; and the proud great-grandfather of Grace Paniccia, Emma Paniccia, and Valentino Paniccia, all of California. He was the brother of Amy Young of Norton, MA, and Elta Powers of Florida, and brother-in-law to Alma Cobb of Seekonk, MA and was predeceased by his siblings: Clifton Cobb, Doris Willis, Herbert Cobb, Irene Choquette, and Kenneth CobbVincent was the former husband of Helene C. (LaPerche) Sheppard of Oakland, ME.
