Vickie Ann "Lovey" (Avellar) Impey, 53, of South Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen T. Impey. Born on July 9, 1962 in Taunton, MA, she was the daughter of Anthony Avellar, Sr. and Beverly (Cote) Avellar.Vickie was a resident of South Attleboro, MA for the past eight years, having been raised in Attleboro where she lived for the first thirty-three years of her life, and having also lived in Pawtucket, RI. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church in Seekonk, MA, and worked for many years as a Home Health Aide.The focus of Vickie's life was her family. She enjoyed cookouts, craft nights, music of most every kind, and Harley Davidsons. She was a woman who truly loved to help and care for others. Vickie lit up the room with her joy, and to know her was to remember her as the "life of the party". She always kept a special place in her heart for her dear late dog, "Junior".In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her cherished family: Her children: Courtneylee B. (Avellar) Martinez and her husband, Kenny Martinez, of Orlando, FL; Brittany L. Impey and her fiancée, Darwin Almonte, of Pawtucket, RI; and her children by marriage: Tina Haynes and her husband, Scott Haynes, of Bellingham, MA; and Stephen Impey and his wife, Keri Ross, of Springfield, NY. She was the adoring grandmother of Tyler, Hunter, Angelina, Alianna, Ryanne, and Dominic; and the treasured sister of Anthony Avellar, Deborah (Avellar) Messier, Joseph Avellar, Brenda Avellar, and Eric Avellar. Vickie leaves many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service immediately following visitation on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Children's room available during visitation and funeral services. Those in need of transportation to visitation may simply call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for complimentary local transportation.
