Verna Beatrice Grassi

Verna Beatrice (Tracy) Grassi of Blackstone, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2020 at the St. Camillus Health Center in Whitinsville.  She was the beloved wife of the late Rino Grassi, whom she married on November 10, 1953 and who died on June 28, 2017.
Born on February 26, 1930 in Jonesport, ME, she was the daughter of the late Vernard Tracy and the late Kathleen (Lunt) Tracy.
Raised and educated in Blackstone, where she resided most of her life, Verna was a graduate of Blackstone High School, Class of 1948.  She worked for many years as a Dormitory Housekeeper at Dean College in Franklin, MA before retiring.
Verna leaves her loving and much-loved children: Debra Rossato and Alan Grassi, both of Blackstone, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Rosalie Leipper and leaves her extended family.All services for Verna will be private.
