Tracey Lynn (Shaw) Herterich, 54, of Medway, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Herterich, to whom she was married on November 10, 1984.Born on March 5, 1963 in Norwood, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Sharon Lee (Sheldon) Shaw. A resident of Medway for the past twenty-four years, she previously lived in Bellingham, MA.A bright and outgoing woman, she was a wonderful cook and enjoyed collecting sea glass, visiting the local shops in Medway, and the simple pleasures in life like watching television with her family. She loved the color red, spending time on Cape Cod, especially Dennis Port and Swan River, and the companionship of her faithful dogs: "Zoey", Bear", and "Cocoa". More than anything, she loved being with her family. Tracey was a friend of Bill W.In addition to her husband, Robert, she leaves her loving children: Amie Lee Luna and her husband, Hector Jose Luna, of Hyde Park, MA; Lindsey Anne Herterich of Medway, MA; and Robert Shaw Herterich and his fiancée, Emma Jane Whisner, of Dedham, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Sophie Klara Luna, Savannah Rae Warwick, and George Robert Luna. Tracey was the dear sister of Lee F. Kivetz and her husband, Robert S. Kivetz, of Sandwich, MA; Lisa M. Ryall and her husband, David F. Ryall, of Nashua, NH; and Leslie A. Deschenes and her husband, David F. Deschenes, of North Attleboro, MA. She leaves several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to honor and remember Tracey at a Visitation on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. In recognition of Tracey's love of the color red, her family asks that you kindly wear something with the color red.Burial services will be privately held.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tracey to the Epilepsy Foundation New England, 335 Main Street, Wilmington, MA 01887.
