Timothy Burns

Timothy "Tim" Michael Burns, 50, of North Attleboro, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA. Born on November 15, 1967 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Robert James Burns Sr., and the late Carole Ann (Whitcomb) Burns.Tim was employed by Metropac Industries Inc. in Foxboro, MA at the time of his death, and had previously worked as a stone setter in the jewelry business.A resident of North Attleboro for the past two years, he previously lived in Attleboro.Tim will be remembered as a happy, giving, loving man who cherished spending time with his family. He loved cars and working on them, especially with his father, and enjoyed attending hot rod car shows through the Bristol County Street Rod Association. He was an avid sports fan, rooting for all of the New England teams, and enjoyed playing the lottery. Tim was a devoted employee, never taking a day out of work, and he genuinely loved his job and those with whom he worked.He was the loving brother of Joann (Burns) Hagerty of Attleboro, and her late husband, Stephen J. Hagerty, who died on May 1, 2018; Robert J. Burns Jr. of North Attleboro; Frank Earl Burns and his wife, Dorothy Burns, of Attleboro; Mary-Ellen Burns of Attleboro; and Scott Edward Burns of North Attleboro.
