Thomas Edward West, Sr., 70, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Golden Living Center, Garden Place, in Attleboro, MA.Born on April 30, 1947 in Taunton, MA, he was the son of the late Harold West and the late Leona A. (Coggon) West.A longtime resident of North Attleboro, MA, before moving to Attleboro, he was a graduate of North Attleboro High School and enjoyed work for a number of businesses throughout the years. Thomas was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in North Attleboro. He enjoyed Old Westerns and Cowboy movies, learning about Native American culture and history, particularly relating to World War II. He had a special place in his life and in his heart for his late cat, "Tom Tom".He leaves his beloved son, Thomas Edward West, Jr., and his wife Stephanie, of North Attleboro, MA. Thomas was the brother of Fern E. Lake of North Attleboro, MA, and Barry J. West and his wife, Geri West, of Framingham, MA.
