Thomas "Tom" "Sibbie" Vincent Sisti Sr., 75, of West Bridgewater, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital in Brockton, MA. He was the beloved husband of Patricia E. (Burns) Sisti, whom he married on April 26, 1970.
Born on April 1, 1947, in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Victor Sisti and the late Rose (Toti) Sisti.
Tom grew up in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Boston Technical High School, Class of 1964, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Boston State College where he also played varsity baseball. He proudly served in the Army Reserves. A resident of West Bridgewater for the past two years, he previously lived for more than forty years in North Attleboro, MA.
Prior to his retirement in 2011, he worked for seventeen years as the Director of Information Technology for Medical Specialties Distributors and as Manager of Business Systems/Production Support for United Natural Foods.
A man of many interests, more than anything in life, he cherished his family and loved spending time with them above anything else. An avid sports fan who loved the outdoors, Tom enjoyed coaching his children in Little League and hockey, visiting state parks, and walking the trails at Sunday River during his family's frequent trips there. He and Pat loved traveling throughout the world, frequently with his and Pat's siblings, and they were especially fond of their trip to Italy, as Tom was very proud of his Italian heritage. Tom was always active, never liking to sit still, and he could always be found working on a project. Tom loved dogs of all kinds, always stopping to affectionately greet and pet them, with a very special place in his heart for his son's late dog, Bandit.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, he leaves his loving sons: Thomas Vincent Sisti, Jr. of Attleboro, MA; and Michael J. Sisti and his wife, Mary Beth (Findlay) Sisti, of Reading, MA. He was the proud grandfather of Alysia Danielle Sisti, Alix Victor Sisti, Autumn Mary Rose Sisti, Lila Findlay Sisti, and Sophie Thomas Sisti, and the adoring great-grandfather of Liam Barnes and Charlee Blassingame. Tom was the dear brother of Vicki Donahue and her husband, Jerry Donahue, of Hyde Park, MA. He leaves two aunts, Mary and Helen, several nieces and nephews, his extended family, and many dear friends.
