Thomas Edward Lacasse

Thomas Edward LaCasse, 54, of Moran Street, North Attleboro, died on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Norwood Hospital in Norwood. He was the husband of Cynthia Kenney. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on May 25, 1960, he was a son of Donald LaCasse and his wife, Janice LaCasse, of North Attleboro and the late Lorena (Stark) LaCasse. Mr. LaCasse was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro. He attended St. Mary's - Sacred Heart School in his youth and graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1978. He later attended trade school. He had been employed as a heavy machinery operator for the Lorusso Corporation in Plainville and Bevilacqua Asphalt Corporation of Uxbridge. Mr. LaCasse was a communicant of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed times spent on his Harley Davidson and supporting activities, events and fundraisers at the local Elk lodges. He will be lovingly remembered for his strong work ethic that was a shining example to others. In addition to his wife, father and stepmother, he leaves a son: Trever A. LaCasse of Wrentham; a sister: Cynthia LaCasse of North Attleboro; two brothers: Richard LaCasse of North Attleboro and Steven LaCasse of Attleboro; two generations of nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and dear friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 8:30 AM from the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Park Street, North Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Children's room available during visitation and prior to the funeral Mass. Following cemetery services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
