He is survived by his brother: Normand Blais, Jr. and his wife, Sharon Blais, of Attleboro; his stepsons: Casey and Dylan Bengston and several nieces and nephews.  Tom especially loved being a great-uncle attending sports and school events as often as possible.
Tom was an avid sports fan as a lifelong supporter of New England teams, particularly the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.  He spent his life involved in various sports, but especially loved playing softball in leagues in both Massachusetts and Minnesota.  Tom was an avid collector and took great pride in his cast iron banks.  A favorite pastime was attending yard sales and coming up with great finds.
A skilled machinist, he was employed by Automatic Machines in Attleboro, MA and also at H & H in Minnesota with a career of more than thirty years in the industry.  Following retirement, he fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting all of the continental states.  He shared photo and finds with his nieces regularly.
