Therese G. Davignon, 82, a lifelong Attleboro and North Attleboro resident, died unexpectedly upon arrival at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro on Saturday, March 14, 2015. Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on June 22, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Wilfrid C. and Hermine E. (Champagne) Davignon. She was a graduate of St. Jean the Baptist High School in Pawtucket, RI and attended Boston College. Ms. Davignon was employed by the City of Attleboro as an assistant at the Rev. Gordon N. Larson Senior Center in Attleboro prior to her retirement. Her favorite pastimes included rug hooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, traveling and selling antiques and vintage clothing. She leaves four siblings: Pauline E. Fini in Florida; Camille V. Davignon in Florida; Yolande A. Giacomelli in Florida and Claire F. Lawrence of Worcester and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street - Route 152, Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A time of continued fellowship and refreshments will follow the burial at the St. John the Evangelist Church Hospitality Center located adjacent to the church.
