Theresa M. Paquette

Theresa "Terry" M. (Leedham) Paquette, 92, of South Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence on March 17, 2024.    She was the wife of the late Joseph Arthur Paquette who died 34 years ago.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on July 1, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Edward F. Leeham, Sr. and the late Honora (Bourque) Leedham.  Raised and educated in her native city, Mrs. Paquette attended the former Sacred Heart School.  She resided in Pawtucket, RI until moving to South Attleboro more than 50 years ago.
She was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her family and was also employed in the disk department at Texas Instruments for many years prior to her retirement.
A devout Roman Catholic, Mrs. Paquette was a faithful communicant of St.Theresa of the Child Jesus Church where she was the recipient of the Marian Medal, a member of the Women's Guild, served as a Eucharistic Minister, C.C.D. coordinator and later coordinator for religious education for ten years and a  longtime volunteer for the annual Christmas bazaar.
As a dedicated Boston Red Sox fan, she attended two world series in her lifetime and was also a fan of the New England Patriots.  Terry also enjoyed reading and Facetiming with her family on Facebook.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Annette Paquette of Riverside, RI; Richard Paquette of Taunton, MA; Linda Paquette of Attleboro, MA; Kevin Paquette of Attleboro, MANancy Paquette of Pawtucket, RI; Paul Paquette in South Carolina; Michael Paquette of Cumberland, RI; Terri-Lynn Paquette of Rehoboth, MA; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren1 great great grandchild and nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
She was the mother of the the late Joseph Paquette and was sister of the late Clarice O'Brien and the late Edward F. Leedham, Jr.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
The funeral cortege will begin at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 8:30 am and will proceed to St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, Baltic Street, South Attleboro, MA for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her faith and life.
Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Paquette's name and honor may be made to St. Theresa's Church, 18 Baltic Street, Attleboro, MA  02703.
