Theresa "Terry" E. Pedro

Theresa "Terry" E. (Hebert) Pedro, 95, of Seekonk, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her first husband, James G. Pedro, and is survived by her longtime companion of forty years, Eugenio "Gene" Carvalho, of East Providence, RI.
Born on February 27, 1928, in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Corana (Martin) Hebert, originally from Quebec, Canada. Terry was a department manager at Mars Department Store in Attleboro, MA, for many years before retiring.
She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and making sure the house was decorated for every season and holiday. An avid reader, you could find Terry enjoying a good novel or the morning paper. She always cherished time with family and was well known to be a devoted churchgoer.
Terry leaves her loving children, Deborah V. LaRue of Newport, RI; James M. Pedro of Florida, MA; Thomas G. Pedro of Plainville, MA; and Lisa C. Pedro-Briggs of Seekonk, MA. She was predeceased by her son, David L. Pedro. She is also survived by her 13 cherished grandchildren and 27 dear great-grandchildren. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Theresa's Visitation on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk, MA.
Graveside services will follow at St. John's Cemetery, 165 West Street, Attleboro, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Theresa's name be sent to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 385 Central Avenue Seekonk, MA 02771-3922.
