Theresa Camella (Lombardi) DeLuca, 77, of Norton, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at home, with her husband and family at her side. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Michael DeLuca, to whom she was married on April 18, 1959.Born on September 7, 1940 in Long Island City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Catherine (Schmidt) Lombardi.A graduate of Hicksville (NY) High School, Class of 1958, she worked for many years as a Secretary for the Augat Company in Attleboro, MA, and for Datel, Inc. in Mansfield, MA, before retiring in 1986.A resident of Norton since 1969, she previously resided in Florida.A warm, kind, and caring woman, she enjoyed puzzles, visits to the casino, and especially knitting. She was a member of the Red Hats Group and "Knot Just Knitting" in Norton. More than anything, Theresa loved being with her family, particularly her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband, Thomas, she leaves her loving children: Dominick F. DeLuca and his wife, Dawn N. (Nessel) DeLuca, of Foxboro, MA; Catherine M. (DeLuca) VanDyne and her husband, Mark VanDyne, of North Attleboro, MA; and Theresa M. Boivin DeLuca of Norton, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Matthew S. VanDyne, Amanda K. DeLuca, Jason T. DeLuca, Jonathan E. VanDyne, Breanna D. DeLuca, Katelyn M. Boivin, and the late Jeremy James VanDyne, who died on August 13, 2017. She was the proud great-grandmother of five great-grandchildren. Theresa was the dear sister of William Lombardi of CA; Frank Lombardi of Hicksville, Long Island, NY; Donald Fagiani of CO; and Donna Badalucca of NH. She was predeceased by her brother, Louis Lombardi.
