Theodore Francis Copparini

Theodore Francis Copparini, 79, of Plainville, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Wingate of Norton in Norton, MA. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Keough) Copparini, to whom he was married for thirty-seven years.
Born on December 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Hugo Copparini and the late Frances (Morini) Copparini.
A resident of Plainville since 1983, he previously lived in Mansfield, MA, where he was raised and educated.
Theodore was a proud owner and operator of the former Copparini Trucking Company in Plainville, and a family business, the Getty Gas Station in Mansfield, MA, before retiring, and honorably served our country in the United States Navy.
A genuine handy-man, Theodore enjoyed camping and boating, especially at Peters Pond in Sandwich, MA. He held a special place in his heart for his three golden retrievers and will be remembered for his sweet smile and sparkling eyes.
In addition to his wife, Ann, he leaves his loving children: Theodore Copparini of North Attleboro, MA; Cheryl Moening and her husband, Daniel Moening, of North Kingstown, RI; and Edon Copparini of Clearwater, FL. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Justin Moening, Jacob Martin, Zachary Martin, and Kassandra Moening. Theodore was one of three siblings and leaves his extended family.
A Private Visitation with Veteran's Honors will be held for Theodore on Monday, March 30, 2020 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Graveside Services with Military Honors in St. Mary Cemetery, Mansfield, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Theodore to the MSPCA - Angell Medical Center at 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 or at www.mspca.org , or to an organization of one's choice benefiting dogs in need.
