Theodora Teddy L. (Coelho) Belmarce, 83 Retired Jewelry Supervisor Theodora Teddy L. (Coelho) Belmarce, 83, of East Street, Attleboro, a loving and devoted wife, mother and aunt, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a period of declining health. She was the wife of Norman P. Belmarce to whom she was married on June 24, 1950. Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on October 31, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Rego) Coelho. She was educated in Providence where she attended Central High School. In earlier years, Mrs. Belmarce attended Centenary United Methodist Church, Attleboro. She was employed as a supervisor at LeStage Jewelry in North Attleboro for several years prior to her retirement. Previously, she was employed by Fisher Company in Attleboro as the supervisor of the shipping and return department. A resident of the City of Attleboro since 1952, Mrs. Belmarce previously resided in Onset where she was raised. A woman of elegance and grace, she enjoyed the theatre in New York City, visiting museums and a friendly afternoon tea with family and friends. She and her husband enjoyed traveling on cruises and visiting California, Mexico, Bermuda, Canada, Florida and Las Vegas among some of her favorite destinations. Mrs. Belmarce was an ardent reader and enjoyed singing having once been a member of the church choir for many years. In addition to her husband of 60 years, she leaves two daughters: Deborah L. Belmarce of Attleboro and Cynthia N. Belmarce of Attleboro and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Lino Coelho and Mary Gomes. Kenneth C. Landin, Pastor of the Original Congregational Church, Wrentham, officiating. Childrens room available during visitation and services. Burial will be private.
