Thanh To Lam, 59, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Hoa Ngoc Van, to whom he was married on December 7, 1980 and who passed away on October 16, 2015.
Born on May 19, 1959 in R?ch Giá, Vietnam, he was the son of the late Vinh Bang Lam and the late Chau (To) Trinh.
Thanh worked for many years as a Machinist for Webco Engineering in Framingham, MA, before retiring in 2018.
A resident of Attleboro since 1990, he previously lived in Warwick, RI.
He was a man of strong faith who attended the Bo De Meditation Center in Braintree, MA. Meditation, prayer, and family played the most meaningful and important roles in Thanh's life.
Thanh was the loving and beloved father of John T. Lam and Michael T. Lam, both of Attleboro, MA. He was the dear brother of Phuoc To Lam of Attleboro, MA; Linh To Lam of Rehoboth, MA; Phuong To Lam of Attleboro, MA; Lien To Lam of Attleboro, MA; and Hung To Lam of Attleboro, MA. He leaves many nieces and nephews and his extended family.
Private Buddhist Visitation and Prayers will be held for Thanh in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home in the Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Private Buddhist Prayer Service and Meditation will be held at the Bo De Meditation Center in Braintree, MA.
Private Graveside Services will be held in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA, at which time Thanh will be laid to rest alongside his dear late wife.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Thanh to the Bo De Meditation Center, 773 Granite Street, Braintree, MA 02184.
