GARBUZINSKI, Terrence "Terry" J. On Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the age of 46 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident when his vehicle was struck by a wrong-way driver on Route 95 North in Stonington, CT. Following his graduation from the Naval Academy, Mr. Garbuzinski was a nuclear power training student from September 1985 until January 1987. He was then employed as a Division Officer for the U.S. Navy from March 1987 - July 1990 aboard the USS Philadelphia and from August 1990 until October 1992 he served as an instructor for the U.S. Navy at a navy submarine school. Since January 1993, he worked with the U.S. Navy as an engineer and vice president of Sonalysts, Inc., a defense and space industry company based in Waterford, CT. Husband of Jennifer R. (McDaid) Garbuzinski. Father of Michael James Garbuzinski and John Patrick Garbuzinski both at home in North Attleboro. Son of Henry J. Garbuzinski of Memphis, TN and the late Margaret (Edmundson) Garbuzinski. Brother of Stephanie Dowdy of Louisville, KY; Patricia Garbuzinski of Clarksville, TN; Henry Garbuzinski of Memphis, TN and the late Mary E. "Mary Beth" Garbuzinski. Son-in-law of William J., Sr. and Jane A. (Kennealey) McDaid of Canton. Brother-in-law of Linda A. McDaid of Hayward, CA; William J. McDaid, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY and Edwin A. McDaid of Canton. Uncle of two nieces.
