Tara (Bhandawat) Singhvi, 78, of Randolph, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA. She was the beloved wife of Ratan Singhvi, whom she married on May 28, 1969, in Ajmer, India.
Born on June 15, 1945, in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India, she was the daughter of the late Amratmal Bhandawat and the late Umrao (Bharkatia) Bhandawat.
A bright, warm, caring woman who was well educated and held a master's degree, more than anything she cherished her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. A woman of great faith, she was a longtime member of the Jain Center of Greater Boston in Norwood, MA.
In addition to her husband, Ratan, she leaves her loving children: Manish Singhvi and his wife, Shweta, of Wakefield, MA;, and Ashish Singhvi of Randolph, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Rohan Singhvi and Ojas Singhvi. Tara was the dear sister of Sobhag Bhandawat, Rajendra Kumar Bhandawat, Sajjan Bhandawat, and the late Paras Bhandawat. She leaves her extended family and many dear friends both near and far.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
A Hindu Ritual Service and Cremation will be privately held.
