Syed Hasan Rizvi
July 7, 1939 — April 25, 2021
Syed Hasan Rizvi, 81, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on the evening of Sunday, April 25, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Beatrice Raymonde (Schnegg) Rizvi.
Born on July 7, 1939 in Allahabad, India, he was the son of the late Zainul Abedin and the late Jamil Bano. Hasan moved to England in 1961 to continue his education at University of London. He met his soon-to-be wife, Beatrice, in 1965 while on vacation in Switzerland. They immigrated to the United States in 1970 and ended up in Massachusetts where they lived the last fifty-one years. Together they had two sons, Nassim and Alam.
Hasan, as he was often known, earned his master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and worked for the Foxboro Company for twenty-five years. He continued his career as a Vice President at C.P. Clare Corporation in Beverly and finished as a Consultant.
Hasan and Beatrice loved to travel, visiting many international destinations as well as all fifty States. He treasured spending as much time as possible with his four cherished grandchildren.
Hasan was a caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He leaves his dear wife, Beatrice, and his loving sons: Nassim Rizvi and his wife, Lauren, of Salem, NH; and Alam Rizvi and his wife, Alexandra ("Ali"), of Hopkinton, MA. Hasan was the proud and adoring grandfather of Blake, age 8; Carson, age 6; Grayson, age 5; and Sasha, age 4. He leaves his extended family and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Hasan's Life will be held in the near future at a date and time to be announced.
