Suzanne Mary Charron, 66, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on January 30, 2023, at Brush Hill Care Center in Milton, MA following a brave and courageous health battle.
Born in Attleboro, MA on June 12, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Henry Charron and the late Marie Madeline (Plante) Charron. Raised and educated in Attleboro, Suzanne was a 1974 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Bristol Community College in 1978.
She was employed as a registered nurse first at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in the emergency room and then more recently as a hospice nurse for Kindred Hospice.
A former communicant of the former St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro, she was now a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Seekonk, MA.
As a spiritual person, she received her certificate in Advanced Hypnotherapy from the Banyan Hypnosis Center and was part of a collective group of hypnotherapists called Soul Purpose.
Her favorite pastimes included summers spent with her family on the Greenville, Maine region, gardening and tending to her flowers gardens, feeding the birds, her love for butterflies, angels and hummingbirds, the colors purple and pink. A lifelong animal lover, she currently had the feline companionship of "Madelyn".
She loved crafts of all types - knitting, cross stitching, beading and making ornaments.
Suzanne was the cherished mother of Sarah E. DeStefano and her fiance, Glenn Cooper III, of Roslindale, MA and Francis T. DeStefano III, of Mansfield, MA; her siblings: Theodore A. Charron and his wife, Judith Charron, of Attleboro, MA; Kathleen Johnson and her husband, Donald Johnson, of Chesapeake, Virginia; Joy Michel of Attleboro, MA and Marie Lennartz and her husband, Clayton Lennartz, of Temple, New Hampshire; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Monday, February 6, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Seekonk, MA.
There will be no public funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of the Funeral Mass.
Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
