Susanne Patricia (Germaine) Wignall, 78, of Bayberry Road, North Attleboro, died unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She was the wife of John Wignall to whom she was married on November 30, 1957. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on June 12, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Victoria (Cavalieri) Germaine. She was raised and educated in North Attleboro and remained a lifelong resident of the community. Mrs. Wignall was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her family. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in North Attleboro. Her favorite pastimes included cooking, dancing and traveling having visited numerous countries including Italy, Greece, Britain, Bermuda and enjoyed numerous cruises. In addition to her husband of 54 years, she leaves a daughter: Vickyann Viscusi and her husband, Frank Viscusi, of North Attleboro; two grandchildren: Francesco Viscusi and Juliana Viscusi both of North Attleboro; two sisters: Mafalda Laramee of West Palm Beach, Florida and Rose Ruddy of North Attleboro; a brother: Benedict Germaine of North Attleboro and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Anne E. Darah and Anna Germaine. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 4:00 8:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Costa, Pastor, officiating. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of the Funeral Mass. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Following cemetery services, family and friends will be invited to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
