Susan Jane Ressler

Susan Jane (Stibick) Ressler, 71, of Johnston, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.Born on January 15, 1947 in Suffern, NY, she was the daughter of the late Herbert E. Stibick Sr., and the late Agnes M. (Mozda) Stibick.A graduate of Mahwah High School, Class of 1964, she received her Associate's Degree from Fisher College. Susan worked for more than twenty years in Customer Service for both the Atlas and Petro Oil companies until her retirement. A resident of Johnston for the past fifteen years, she previously lived on Bulfinch Street in North Attleboro, MA. An outgoing, active, and vivacious woman, Susan loved the beach, especially Siesta Beach in Sarasota, FL; shopping, especially for shoes; going to the gym; chocolate; and riding her motorcycle. She cherished spending time with her best friend, Deborah Yourof and her husband, Albert "Al" Yourof, of Plainville, MA; and with her dear friend, Mike. More than anything, Susan loved being with her most cherished family. She was the beloved mother of Kimberly D. Taylor and her husband, Shawn P. Taylor, of Huntington Beach, CA; Tara M. Pernini and her husband, Joshua M. Pernini, of Johnston, RI; Robert Craig Jr., of Woonsocket, RI; and Eric John Ressler of Medway, MA. She was the proud grandmother of Amanda M. Jensen, Taylor A. Pernini, Christopher S. Taylor, Kylie J. Taylor, Autumn Ressler, and Colton Ressler; and the adoring great-grandmother of Nash M. Jensen and Dixie M. Jensen. Susan was the dear sister of Eileen M. McNair and her husband, Thomas C. Blaettler, of San Diego, CA; Mary A. Gerrans and her husband, Dana R. Gerrans, of Franklin, MA; and Herbert E. Stibick Jr. and his wife, Carmen Stibick, of Huntington Beach, CA. She was the granddaughter of the late Mary A.
