Susan Ann (Ajootian) Choiniere, 56, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, fighting for her life, at Salem Hospital in Salem, MA, after three days in the Intensive Care Unit. She was the dear wife of the late Russell R. Choiniere and the beloved partner of Robert Anthos of Lynn, MA.
Born on February 10, 1966, in Lynn, MA, where she was raised and educated, she was the daughter of the late Maryellen Francis (Magnuson) and the late Harry Ajootian.
Susan had an enormous sense of humor. She would play pranks on her family constantly just to get a laugh or aggravate them simply to see their reaction. She was able to see the humor in just about everything in life. Susan was kind-hearted and always willing to put others before herself. She had opened her home to many family members over the years who just needed a little help during challenging times.
She enjoyed traveling to Twin River Casino with Robert for a fun day playing the slot machines or going to Atlantic City for an adventure. She enjoyed many girls' nights with friends, loved the beach, and road trips to nowhere in particular.
More than anything, Susan loved her family and spent as much time with them whenever she could.
She will be dearly missed by so many.
In addition to her partner, Robert, she leaves her beloved children: Angela Ajootian and Stephen Choiniere. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Princess Aliysa, her "Grandma's Girl", and her grand puppy, Buster. She was the dear sister of Rhonda Borden of Lynn, MA; Karen Eddows and her husband, Brian, of Lynn, MA; Gary Ajootian of Lynn, MA; Gregory Ajootian of Lynn, MA; and the sister-in-law and best friend, Debbie (Lima) Heckbert of Cumberland, RI. Susan was the sister of the late Michael T. Carey of Lynn, MA, and was the aunt of the late Michael Carey Jr. and Keith Eddows. She leaves several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.
