Steven Ronald Sanders

Steven Ronald Sanders, 66, of Taunton, MA passed away at his residence unexpectedly on December 20, 2022.
Born in New London, CT on December 27, 1955, he was the son of the late Edgar Sanders and the late Amelia (Gonsalves) Sanders.  He was the maternal grandson of the late Antonia (Monteiro) Gonsalves and the late James Gonsalves
He was raised and educated in Taunton, MA and was a carpenter by trade in the construction industry.
In earlier years, he was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Taunton, MA.
He enjoyed playing pool, socializing with friends. His family greatly acknowledges the assistance from Community Care of Bristol County.
Left to mourn his passing are his siblings: Sandra E. Sanders of Newport, Rhode Island; Raymond E. Sanders and his wife, Georgianna (Rollins) Sanders of Taunton, MA and Kathryn A. Sanders of Taunton, MA; two aunts: Anna Barros of New Bedford, MA and Antonia Monteiro of Newport, Rhode Island, several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Celebration of His Life will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel".
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Steven's name and honor may be made to The Jimmy Fund of Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
