Steven Michael McLean, 56, of Attleboro,  passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. Born on May 8, 1960 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Bertrand Fred McLean and the late Gladys A. (Hyland) McLean. A lifelong resident of Attleboro, Steven worked for many years as an Auto Body Mechanic for various area dealerships. He genuinely loved spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed car races, motorcycles, trips to the casino, fishing, and the companionship of his cat, "Midnight". He is survived by his cherished children: Shanna L. McLean of Boston, MA; and Ryan M. McLean of North Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved father of the late Kyle Steven McLean. Steven was the brother of Mark A. McLean and his wife, Julie A. (Rivet) McLean of Attleboro, MA; and the late Bruce McLean and the late Tina Dykas. He was the nephew of Everett and Elaine Hyland of North Attleboro, MA, and leaves several nieces and nephews and good friends. He was the former husband of Linda L. (Knox) McLean of FL. Funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Steven to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
