Stephen W. ?Bear? Tedeman, Sr., 61, of South Attleboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich following a brief illness.Born in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts on January 2, 1950, he was a son of the late George W. Tedeman, Sr. and Kathryn (Cunningham) Tedeman. He was a resident of South Attleboro and previously resided in Attleboro for most of his life.Mr. Tedeman worked for most of his life as a plating supervisor for Augat, Foster Metals and Swank. Most recently, he was employed at JR?s Sav-On-Liquors.He was educated in Attleboro schools and the New England Fuel Institute.Mr. Tedeman was a member of the New England Electroplating Society.He is survived by two sons: Stephen W. Tedeman, Jr. and his wife, Amy, of Lewiston, Maine and Joshua R. Tedeman, Sr. of Tampa, Florida and seven grandchildren: Joshua, Jr., Jonathan, Jordan, Zoe, Nevaeh, Gabriella and Mya.In addition, he leaves two brothers: Mark Tedeman of Attleboro and Robert Tedeman of Rochester, NH; three sisters: Ruth Ellen Schmidt of North Attleboro; Barbara Tetreault of Norway, Maine and Kathryn Reilly of Barefoot Bay, Florida and many nieces and nephewsHe was the brother of the late William C. Tedeman, George W. Tedeman, Jr., Thomas A.
