Stephen P. Mccarthy

Stephen P. McCarthy, 74, of Attleboro, MA passed away after a brief illness on October 29, 2023, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.
Mr. McCarthy was often seen on the roads of Attleboro and North Attleboro as he would bicycle all over the communities.
In earlier years, Mr. McCarthy had been employed as a key maker.
Life threw him many challenges including a period of homelessness, but he remained optimistic and friendly. He previously resided at Pleasant Street Rest Home and moved to the Garden Place HealthCare in Attleboro a few years ago.
Among the many acquaintances and friendships he developed, he leaves his friend: Ty Waterman, City of Attleboro Councilor, and his friends at his favorite spot - Tex Barry's Coney Island Diner on County Street in Attleboro.
There will be no funeral services.
Burial will be private.
