Stephen J. Leroux, 58, of Attleboro, MA passed away unexpectedly following an illness at his residence on September 17, 2022.
Born in Attleboro, MA on February 20, 1964, he was a son of Anne Marie (Wagner) Leroux of Attleboro, MA, and the late Robert Leroux.
He was raised and educated in the City of Attleboro where he was a graduate of Attleboro High School.
Mr. Leroux was employed as a paramedic for Fallon Ambulance Service of Milton, MA for 22 years.
He attended Crossroads International, formerly the South Attleboro Assembly of God.
Stephen enjoyed camping trips to Saco, Maine, golfing, traveling abroad and skiing.
As an animal lover, he was obsessed with his three feline companions and often remembered his much-loved late boxers.
In addition to his mother, he leaves two sons: Ryan W. Leroux and his wife, Angela (Knor) Leroux, of Frankfort, Illinois and Tyler L. Leroux and his wife, Darrell "D.J." (Massa) Leroux of Northfield, MA; his eight-month old grandson: Brooks Leroux of Frankfort, Illinois; and his siblings: Robert Leroux of Barre, MA; Luanne Cheney of Attleboro, MA; William Leroux of Wrentham, MA; Elizabeth Ann Kelley of Sturbridge, MA; Thomas Leroux in Iowa and David Leroux of Long Beach, California.
He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside service immediately following visitation at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro, MA. A funeral procession will leave from the funeral home.
