Stephen Paul Denecke, 25, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA with his family at his side. He was the beloved son of Edwin H. Denecke and Debra R (Barber) Denecke of North Attleboro, MA. Born in Seoul, South Korea on July 26, 1990, Stephen attended and graduated from the South Coast Educational Collaborative. A lifelong resident of North Attleboro, he always had a smile on his face and will be remembered by all who knew and loved him for his love of all of the simple pleasures in life. He delighted in playing video games, special needs karate, Tae Kwon Do in his younger years, anything having to do with SpongeBob SquarePants, and participating in the HMEA day programs. He loved his black cat, "Blessing", who passed away; but above all, Stephen loved his family. In addition to his parents, Stephen is survived by his adoring sister, Cara L. Denecke of Alexandria, VA; maternal grandparents: Barbara S. Barber of Zephyrhills, FL, and the late Merrill Barber; paternal grandparents: Oswald Denecke of Inverness, FL, and the late Julianna (Manuputy) Denecke; his uncles: Dr. Phillip W. Barber of Boston, MA; and Frank Denecke and his wife, Sherron Denecke, of Mendon, MA; and his four cousins: Jessica, Kristen, Jeffrey, and Brittany. He will be greatly missed.
